Hey, for the Wednesday meeting I'm going to need some help finding your house Kathy. The only place I really know how to get to is the fish and chip shop...

Well I have the poster done up now, I'll bring it on Wednesday so you can give your views on it. Could I have the info for the leaflets as well please?

Hey Sarah. Ta muchly for that : ). I'm really sorry I didn't get round to e-mailing the flyer design to you, have been so busy lately. Since I didn't leave myself enough time to sort it out, I'll get the design sorted for the flyers, and upon reflection, I think we could get away with just putting an archery related clip art type graphic with the info about club sessions and GIAG etc.
Right now, directions to my house! Come out of the range, and turn right onto Northumberland Road. Keep walking, and walk up evil Conduit Road (if you don't know Conduit Road, you'll wish you'd never even found out about it, as it's really steep!). At the top of Conduit Road, turn left onto School Road and walk past the little parade of shops. After a bit, there should be a Corner Shop/Caribbean take-away place on the left, walk past that, then take the next right onto Sackville Road, which is my road. My house is number 24, and it has red paint above the bay window.

Well I have the theme all done now so it wouldn't take long to get the flyers to match the poster, if you could send them in the morning then they would be done by the meeting for sure.

Hey guys, I've done the rota for Sports Fair. I have taken into account of what people said that they wanted/didn't want to do, and for all the people that have volunteered to help out for the whole day, I'm giving you half an hour off for lunch and to escape the Octagon for a bit! I have also tried to rotate people round who said that they didn't mind doing flyers and standing by the stall, as I know it can get a bit boring doing the same job all day! I have a departmental meeting 2-3pm, but there are enough people to cover all the positions, and I will be back in time to help take the stall down. Those who are bringing laptops and bows, please make sure that you're in the Octagon by 9.45am.
I'll put up the rota when I have time a bit later, as it's being a bit of a pain at the moment.

glad to say the loss of power at the stands didn't cause us to lose any email addresses

Now the dust has settled - a quick summary:
I haven't added up all of the numbers yet but we took £615 in membership fees (the majority being from new members). We have almost 30 new members, and we have over 100 names on the mailing list. So all in all, not a bad day really!
Echoing what Kathy just posted, a big thank you to everyone who helped out. Roll on the new year!
