Hi, I started at Hallam in September and was really disappointed when I found out there wasn't an Archery club. I left it at that, but recently I stumbled accross Sheff Uni Archery Club on facebook, and I seem to remember it mentioning about whether us Hallams are allowed to join or not, but unfortunatly I can't check at the moment because facebook is banned at work.
I've just (about) completed a beginners course at York Archery Society and I'm going to continue to shoot over summer, but I want to keep it up when I get back to Sheffield.
If anyone could let me know if I'm allowed to join and how much and such I'd appreciate it. I'd like to join soon because then I can be an associate at YAS, which, in true student style, would be the cheapest option for me!
Thanks, Cath Tomkinson

Hey, well I'm a Hallam student and I've been shooting at Shef Uni for the three years I've been here so of course they'll let you join. The only awkward part about it is that shooting is done at Goodwin Sports Centre so a bit out of the way of Hallam usual stomping grounds. As for prices I can't exactly remember but someone in the committee will know.
I would advise asking more questions on the facebook site whenever you're next able to. This forum is not used very much at the time being and I'd hate to find you asking questions and getting no answers. (Truth be told it is pure chance that I find myself here right now, I clicked on the wrong bookmark)
