Which is precisely why I made this thread, Flush. And I haven't even got started yet, but I'm only posting the stuff I like. So, I give you.... White Ninja Comics! I can't vouch for the artwork, but the humour is just perfect when it's been a long day. Call me a nerd will you Vickie?

Looking for the creme de la creme is hard. Very Hard. Here are my nominations for the coveted "La Forge" awards for web comic excelence: Questionable Content : Artwork is improving at an awesome rate. Humour is for the most part acceptable, with a few real gems. A fine example of "Indie Webcomics" A Miracle of Scince : A somewhat more serious sci fi work, with authors who seem to know their sciences, and actually contemplate the realistic possibilities of what they are writing about. Above average plot, with a few film noir style humour twists. Indavo : Another space based adventure. Acceptable art. Plot and dialogue occasionaly seem forced, and are a little predictable in a few places. The Hollywood action film of web comics Once Upon a Table : ROLEPLAY! Tabletop gaming humour. Not as sad as it sounds. An amazing funny story. Star Bored : A Star Wars parody, one of the best things to ever come out of Holland. Currently on hold whilst the author prepares to start Parodying Episode 5, having just done 4 (and a few other films) Zap! : Another Sci-fi. A light hearted take, without actually parodying any specific serious work. Artwork slowly improving, some good jokes, some bad. I included this because some of the cast are so lovable! Diesel Sweeties : I was first introduced to this from a link on Questionable content. I didn't take to it at first, due to the pixelated artwork. Give it some time though, and the humour will shine through More as I remember them

Someone told me about penny arcade. Once they did a colaboration project with Elf Only Inn (not the best webcomic, just including it because I can). I checked out EOI, and noted a number of guest comics and fan art from other artists, which I followed up. Sooner or later, once I find a site I like, I'll follow the links to other webcomics the artist likes, and so build up my network.

Good organisation? My list has been built over the course of several years, never more than one added per month. For the biggest webcomics, such as diesel sweeties, it takes about 3 hours to read all the archives. You quickly learn when each webcomic updates, and it only takes a few minutes each day to read them. Some people use a piece of software to tell them when the selected sites update, but I find it a POS, so don't use it. Oh, and before I forget, try Team Special Olympics. Not so much a webcomic, more a regular comic, but online. Doesn't update too regularly though; linky

Another way is to have a handy boyfriend write you a webpage with all your favourite comics on... Takes a while to download, but then you just scroll down and there you go! Another of my favourites is College Roomies From HellYou do kinda need to read the archives to know what's going in here, but if you do, you'll be hooked. Or just ask me why Mike has a tentacle...
