I know, but its such a trek from home, so its not worth my while until I can shoot. 20 mins in car in good traffic Vs 1hour on bus (

* 340 g butter, softened * 110 g white sugar * 350 g all-purpose flour * 255 g butter * 245 g packed light brown sugar * 65 ml light corn syrup (3 portions sugar to one portion water, about a cup of white sugar) * 265 ml sweetened condensed milk * 485 g milk chocolate chips
-Preheat oven to 175oC -Mix together the larger amount of butter, white sugar, and flour -Press onto baking tray. -Bake for 20 minutes. -In a saucepan, combine the other butter, brown sugar, corn syrup , and sweetened condensed milk. -Bring to a boil. Continue to boil for 5 minutes. -Remove from heat and beat vigorously with a wooden spoon for about 3 minutes. -Pour over baked crust (warm or cool). Cool until it begins to firm. -Melt chocolate and pour over caramel layer. Cover the layer completely. -Chill. -Cut into squares
