One quote ONLY per person per day, please.
It should not necessarily be funny to everyone, but you should have thought it so.
And the first entry:
Tom: So we'll go have toasties, veg on the sofa for half an hour while snacking heavily, and then think about food...

Vickie: "Would you like to please reorder your priorities to put the lives of everybody in the car ABOVE that muffin?" I was hungry, dammit, and the driver has an airbag. They all lived, didn't they?

"What the f**k are you doing here!"
This isn't all that good, but I liked it because I heard precisely that no fewer than three times today from three separate people.
(Runner-up: "Here he is, it's the legendary Shirt!")

"Give a man fire and he's warm for the day, but set him on fire and he's warm for life"

since we are going with Discworld quotes here is one from the same book... (which is Jingo btw Sloth) 'They say that whoever pays the piper calls the tune.' 'But, gentlemen,' said Mr Saveloy, 'whoever holds a knife to the piper's throat writes the symphony.' [p. 171] EDIT: and yes you found it... but i could easily have found it either on here on in the books themselves . It was just nice to have u do the donkey camel work ;D

tho in order to find out which book it was I had to search for him........... [from the innkeeper, on stage, in the middle of the play, regarding Jospeh asking for a room] "I wasn't expecting that!" Rufus laughed

*Thread interuppting message from Admin*
We're looking for original quotes here people - no plagurism, even if it's Pratchett. The whole idea is silly things people you know have said, and you have to have been there to hear them say it!
Eg, from my Projective Geometry lecturer in my final year.
"you could try to imagine what that would look like, but I wouldn't recommend it, as it might give you a headache..."
Curved space is so much fun:D
